Greg Teague, President

Since 2003, Greg has been providing financial planning services along with financial education seminars for businesses, churches and other for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. In 2008, he started Teague, Knight & Associates in Chicago's Bronzeville community, where he worked with individuals and small business owners in many different industries providing financial and tax planning and preparation services and establishing small business accounting systems. In 2012, he formed Practical Financial Solutions to continue to bring those same services to clients in the Hyde Park community.

Previously Greg has served as CFO for Thrush Companies, a Chicago Real Estate Developer and Construction Management Company as well as T.A.G. Properties in the South Loop community. He has also provided financial planning services through Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Waddell & Reed.

Greg’s background includes a B.S. in Accounting from Bradley University in Peoria and an M.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Roosevelt University. In addition, Greg holds a Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses as well as life, health, property and casualty insurance licenses. 

He also currently serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce in Chicago as well as Jubilee Faith Community of the ELCA in Country Club Hills, IL.
